Our Process
Our brass begins its new life by first being wet tumbled for three hours to remove any dirt or debris. It is then decapped, resized and expanded. Expansion helps with bullet seating, and helps prevent bullets from tipping. This is especially true on progressive presses. From there, case mouths are inspected visually for any cracked cases or outliers. During this inspection, cases are gauged by batch to ensure expansion is consistent. Then our cases undergo another round of polishing to achieve a bright finish and remove any brass accumulated during sizing. Finally, we use a machine that images each case and compares the primer pocket to determine and sort cases by primer size.
